Rinus Pauel was born and raised in the Netherlands before moving to Belgium at 18. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for the guitar, immersing himself in diverse musical influences across Europe. During these formative years, he taught guitar lessons and explored a variety of styles, performing in bands rooted in soul, funk, Afro-funk, and blues. His love for music naturally expanded into songwriting and production, where he blended elements of neo-soul, jazz, blues, rock, and funk to craft his own unique sound.

At 28, Rinus relocated to the United States, where he fully committed to a career in music. Adapting to a new and vibrant scene, he began performing with the renowned entertainer and guitar virtuoso Glenville Slim, a collaboration that continues to this day. In addition to playing with various local bands and projects, he carved out a solo career, performing acoustic sets at restaurants, bars, and private events. Determined to bring his own vision to life, he formed his band, Rino, which now performs weekly. Constantly pushing his creative boundaries, Rinus is actively writing and producing original music, with multiple new releases on the horizon.
