deanna jazz trio

Deanna Rusnock is an award-winning pianist and composer, recognized as the winner of ASU’s 2021–2022 Composition Competition. She performs accordion with the Phoenix Symphony and teaches piano and accordion at East Valley Yamaha Music School in Chandler. With a Master’s degree in Music Composition, she is now pursuing a second Master’s in Jazz Piano Performance at Arizona State University.

A versatile musician, Deanna draws inspiration from jazz legends like Hank Jones, McCoy Tyner, and Wynton Kelly, as well as classical composers such as J.S. Bach, Chopin, and Beethoven. Having played piano since the age of six, she continues to refine her artistry across genres.
