DEANNA RUSNOCK

A passionate and versatile musician, Deanna Rusnock has been playing piano since the age of six and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano Performance at Arizona State University. With a deep appreciation for both classical and jazz traditions, she has developed a diverse repertoire, performing works by Hank Jones, McCoy Tyner, Wynton Kelly, J.S. Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, and many others. Her ability to seamlessly blend genres and styles makes her a dynamic performer, equally at home in jazz clubs, concert halls, and academic settings.

In addition to her jazz studies, Deanna holds a Master’s Degree in Music Composition, showcasing her skill as both a performer and creator. Her talent was recognized when she won ASU’s Composition Competition for the 2021-2022 school year, a testament to her ability to craft compelling and innovative musical works. Her expertise extends beyond the piano—she is also a skilled accordionist, performing with the Phoenix Symphony, further highlighting her versatility and commitment to exploring a wide range of musical expressions.

Beyond performing, Deanna is a dedicated educator, sharing her knowledge and passion with students as a piano and accordion instructor at East Valley Yamaha Music School in Chandler. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, creativity, and a deep understanding of musicality, inspiring students to develop their own unique voices as musicians.

Whether on stage, in the classroom, or composing new works, Deanna Rusnock continues to leave a lasting impact on the music world, bringing both technical mastery and emotional depth to every performance.
